Scripture and a Prayer: “What Do We Treasure?”

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:21)

Prayer:

Lord, may we never treasure anything more than You, for truly You are our treasure, You are that pearl of great price. May we treasure in our heart all that You have done, especially giving eternal life through Your Son, and the death He died for our sins. Therefore, let us treasure above all else Your grace, mercy, and forgiveness. Help us not to treasure the temporary pleasures of this world, but instead layup treasures in heaven through faith in Jesus. AMEN
