A Scripture and a Prayer: “A Peace and a Hope”

“Since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.” (Romans 5:1-2)

Prayer:

How wonderful, Lord Jesus, to know that through our faith in You that we can have peace, a peace You say surpasses all understanding. But even more, is that it’s through our faith in You and what You did for us upon the cross that Your amazing grace is shed within our hearts as well. And so, it is in You that we glory in the hope, grace, and mercy You have given and extended to all who believe. Therefore, I thank you Lord, and may Your peace, grace, and mercy continue to reign in our hearts and life. AMEN
