A Scripture and a Prayer: “God’s Strength Required”

“Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:7)

Prayer:

Lord, You have commanded that we follow Your word, the whole of Your word, from Genesis to Revelation. And Your command is that we are not depart from it, but also that we will not vacillate back and forth in keeping it as well. Jesus, You even said that if we love You, then we’ll keep these commandments. Therefore, Lord, give us the strength and the courage to follow Your word wholeheartedly, and not turn from it, nor add to or take away from it. Help us live our life in accordance with Your word so that You may be glorified. AMEN
