A Scripture and a Prayer: “The Smartest Thing”

“But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.” (Deuteronomy 4:29)

Prayer:

Jesus, You made it clear how we need to get my priorities in line with You when You said, “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.” Therefore, may we seek you first in whatever I do, that is, with the whole of our being, because Your promise is that when we do, then we’ll find You, and hence Your will and way for our lives. Help us, therefore, to always keep you first in our thoughts, and first in our hearts, and to reject allowing the world to conform us into its image, but instead transform us into Your image and according Your likeness Lord Jesus. AMEN
