A Scripture and a Prayer: “Be Still and Know God”

“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” (Psalm 46:10)

Prayer:

Lord, help us to be still and quite so that we may hear Your voice directing us in the way we should go. And when we are worried and anxious over those things that are going on around us, please still our hearts and minds so we don’t let the world have that kind of access into the very heart and soul of our being. And then, may our words, actions, and attitudes glorify You so that You can truly be exalted, not only among the nations and in the earth, but also in our lives. And this I ask in Jesus’s name. AMEN
