Thought For Today: “The Environment Isn’t At Fault”

We live in an age of excuses. People say we’re a product of our environment, or we behave the way we do because of how we were brought up.

People believe if they could change their current situation the problems they are having would disappear. Truth is, however, when we make such a change, we’re just transferring our problems to a new place.

It isn’t the environment’s fault; nor is it how we grew up. The problem lies within us.

Adam and Eve had the perfect environment, along with everything they could possibly desire or need; nothing was lacking, it was indeed Paradise. But the problem wasn’t with the environment; rather it was within Adam and Eve.

They turned Paradise into a wilderness.

Free choice is just that, a freedom to choose what is right, just as much as a freedom to choose what is wrong.
