Thought For Today: “Nothing Else Like It”

The Bible helps us along this journey of faith the Lord tells us to take, informing us on how we are to live our lives, and helping us to transform more into the image of our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.

In Psalm 19:7-8, King David reveals just how perfect, and right is the word of God.

“The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; the statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.”

The writer of Hebrews said, “The word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)

And so, God’s word, the Bible, is like nothing else in this world, therefore, let’s begin to open it up and get into it, and then allow it to get into us.
