A Scripture and a Prayer: “Building Through Sacrifice”

“Give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.” (Proverbs 4:20-22)

Prayer:

Lord, Your word is truly profitable to equip us for whatever lies ahead, but also to bring health to our bodies, souls, and spirits. Therefore, Lord, help us to pay attention to what You are speaking to us, and give us spiritual ears to hear Your words for our lives. Let Your word truly be a lamp unto our feet, and a light unto our path. And may Your Word, O Lord, nourish our soul and spirit this day and help make a difference for You in all we meet. AMEN
