A Scripture and a Prayer: “Giving Thanks”

“In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I just want to thank you for everything that You have done, the battles You have fought on our behalf without our even being aware or knowing of them. I also want to thank you for the many prayers You have answered, and the forgiveness You have extended towards us even through our most difficult times. And I just want to thank you for everything that You have placed before us regardless of whether it is convenient or not. And so, for my life and the eternal life to come, We Thank You O Lord. AMEN
