A Scripture and a Prayer: “If God Be For Us”

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31)

Prayer:

Lord, I thank You for this great and precious promise, especially seeing the forces of evil that are lined up against us. I thank You for the promise that greater are You who lives inside of us, than all the forces of Satan that are lined up against us. Also, thank You for the armor You have provided to thwart Satan’s attacks, along with the sword of the Spirit, Your word, that gives us the victory. I thank You that through Your death for us and the forgiveness of sin You extend that we now have access to Your throne of grace to find grace and mercy in our time of need. And so truly, since You are for us, nothing and no one can come against us and take what You have given. And for all of this, I give You thanks. AMEN
