A Scripture and a Prayer: “Our Forever God”

“For this God is our God for ever and ever; He will be our guide even to the end.” (Psalm 48:14)

Prayer:

Lord, You are from everlasting to everlasting, and Your faithful is steadfast, and for this I cannot thank you enough, for while I am not as faithful as I should be, You remain faithful to me. And this faithfulness extends into eternity with You in heaven. But You also extend it to my right here and now, as You guide me in the way that I should go, the direction that I should take, and the words that I speak that You may be glorified. Therefore, I humbly ask that today You would open Your word to my heart, soul, and spirit to be that lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path so that I do not stumble and fall. And this I ask in Jesus’s name. AMEN
