A Scripture and a Prayer: “No Middle Ground”

“Whoever is not with me is against me.” (Matthew 12:30)

Prayer:

Lord, You make it clear that there is no middle ground, there is no middle of the road when it comes to our lives today. If we are not all in with You, then we are not in You, and You are not in us. Again, there is no middle ground. Lord may Your admonition be my prayer today saying, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” (Luke 9:23) And so Lord, help me to follow You closer than I ever in this New Year. And Father, this I ask in the name that is above all names, the name of Your Son, Jesus. AMEN
