Thought For Today: “Give What You Have”
We may not have much, but whatever we have we are to give to Jesus, and He will multiply it and bless many through your sacrifice.
When the disciples saw the need of the people, they came to Jesus and asked Him to send the people away so they could care for themselves. But Jesus asked them what they had, and they said a couple of loaves and a few fish. Jesus said it was enough, and through giving what they had, Jesus fed five thousand. (Matthew 14:15-18)
You may not always have what is needed, but when you give whatever you have to Jesus, He will bless it and provide what is needed. And through it not only will others be blessed, but also you will be as well.
“Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” (Luke 6:38)
Therefore, let’s give what we have and then God will do the rest.
