Thought For Today: “What Side of the Comma Are You?”
Jesus said that while the thief (Satan) comes to steal, kill, and destroy, He (Jesus) came to give life. But the type of life He gives is totally dependent upon which side of the comma we want to live.
Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
We have a choice to live and just get by, or to live an abundant life. Are we living, or really living? Are we existing in our relationship with God, or are we thriving in that relationship? Are we carnal, living for self, or are we spiritual, living for God? Are we like the world with no spiritual power, or are we empowered and equipped by God to live this life supernaturally?
To be on the right side of the comma, both figuratively and literally, means we’re praying, reading God’s word, and filled with the Holy Spirit.
So, what side of the comma are you? Be on the right side.
