A Scripture and a Prayer: “God’s Purified Words”

“The words of the Lord are pure words, like silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.” (Psalm 12:6)

Prayer:

What a promise You have given Lord, where You have given Your word, words that our pure, that is, words with no corruption (purified seven times, seven being the number of perfection), and words given for me to help me live this new life in You; a redeemed life, a sanctified life, a purified life, and a life full of meaning. And what a privilege it is to read these words that give such value. Help me therefore to keep these words close to my heart, that they may change my heart and make into a heart that is totally new and wholly sold out for You. And this I ask in Jesus’s name. AMEN
