A Scripture and a Prayer: “How’s Your Behavior”
“Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness.” (2 Peter 3:11)
Prayer:
Lord, seeing that the time is short, and that Your return and judgment is close at hand, You are asking what am I doing, not only with the time that I have left, but what am I doing to make a difference, again, not only in my speech, but also in my action. Therefore, Lord, I am asking for Your help to be that living sacrifice holy and acceptable to You, which You say is my reasonable service. I am humbly asking that You give me the courage to be more like Jesus, because Jesus is Your living definition of grace. May I therefore abide in You, so that I can be Your hands and Your feet to those who need Your touch. And Father, I am asking this in Jesus’s name. AMEN
