A Scripture and a Prayer: “Expect God to do Great Things”

“My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him.” (Psalm 62:5)

Prayer:

Lord, my soul truly waits for You in these trying and difficult times. Help me not to seek other avenues to bring satisfaction and comfort. Help me have that Spirit of expectation and anticipation that not only have You heard my cry and my request, but that You will answer and deliver me from the evil trying to gain control. Lord, I humbly request that You be my rock and my fortress and deliver me from all my fears. And this I ask in Jesus’s mighty and precious name. AMEN
