A Scripture and a Prayer: “Strengthen By Christ”

“Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my anxieties; and see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” (Psalm 139:23-24)

Prayer:

Lord, I must admit that this is not an easy prayer to pray. But as David was a warrior, not only in the physical sense, but in the spiritual sense as well, so must I be. But I also know how weak I am, and how I would rather avoid confrontation, both with others, but also in the spiritual world. But You have given me the armor to wear and have put Your courage in my heart. Therefore, Lord, search me, and help me overcome my weaknesses so that I can be strong in You. “I can do all things through Christ who gives me the strength.” AMEN
