A Scripture and a Prayer: “Our Victory is in Jesus”

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)

Prayer:

Lord, I need You as my strength each and every day. Actually, I need You as my strength every moment of every day, because every day brings hardships, difficulties, troubles, trials, and persecution. And to say I am weak is an understatement. But Your promise is that I can delight in weakness because Jesus is my strength and my shield, and a very present help in my days of difficulties and troubles. Therefore, I am able to do whatever Your will may be, because You, Lord Jesus, gives me the strength. AMEN
