A Scripture and a Prayer: “A New Creation”

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Prayer:

Lord, I thank you that when I came to faith in Your Son, Jesus Christ, when I became born again, I was made into a new creation, where all the old stuff of my past, my sins, hurts, and pain have passed away and I became someone entirely new in You. I pray that I might come into a deeper understanding of this amazing truth so that I can share this new life that You have so graciously provided with others, that they too can know, understand, and partake in this new life as well through faith in Jesus Christ, and then become part of this new and wonderful family You have created. And this I ask in Jesus’s name. AMEN
