A Scripture and a Prayer: “Thanksgiving Praise”

“I will praise the name of God with a song; I will magnify him with thanksgiving.” (Psalm 69:30)

Prayer:

Lord, there is so much to be thankful for, even though there is so much wrong and evil in this world. Help me Lord to no longer focus on the world and instead to turn my thoughts and heart towards You and Your blessings of salvation and the forgiveness of sin You have provided, especially during this Thanksgiving Holiday. Help me to count all the blessings You have provide, both small and large, but especially the blessing of salvation You provided through the death of Your Son, Jesus Christ. AMEN
