A Scripture and a Prayer: “God Is Good”

“For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.” (Psalm 100:5)

Prayer

Lord, I cannot thank you enough for being such a gracious and merciful God towards me. But even further, let me never lose the light of Your truth, along with the sense of awe and wonder at the love You extend. Yet, with all the trials and tribulations that this world brings upon us, give me the strength and endurance to continue to praise You and never forget that Your mercies are new every morning, as well as Your love for me despite my sins and failures. And this I ask in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. AMEN
