A Scripture and a Prayer: “Giving Thanks”

“In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I just want to thank you for everything that You have done for me, the battles You have fought on my behalf without my even being aware. I also want to thank you for the many prayers You have answered, and the forgiveness You have extended towards me even through my most difficult times. And I just want to thank you for everything that You have placed before me regardless of whether it is convenient or not. And so, for my life and the eternal life to come, I Thank You Lord. AMEN
