Thought for Today: “God 911”

When you get to that place when you have nowhere else to turn, call upon God. In fact, call upon God before you get there. Before you go too far, call upon God for your salvation.

“I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.” (Psalm 18:3)

“Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me.” (Psalm 50:15)

We need to realize that God wants us to call upon Him at any time, morning, noon, and night. And even more, God doesn’t put us on hold, nor will He hang up on us. In fact, He is waiting for our call.

“Because He has inclined His ear to me, therefore I shall call upon Him as long as I live.” (Psalm 116:2)
