Thought For Today: “Holy Spirit Guidance”

It is interesting to me that when we’re filled with the Holy Spirit, the world thinks we’re nuts, but in reality we’re the only sober minded people out there.

Upon seeing and hearing the disciples after the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, the crowds thought them drunk, but Peter said, “These people are not drunk, as you suppose … this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh.’” (Acts 2:15-16).

Being filled with the Holy Spirit is the only sane and sober thing for believers, for He gives us guidance and direction so we don’t go stumbling through life.

“But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth.” (John 16:13)
