An Easter Thought: Get Refocused for Easter
“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.” (John 11:25)
Easter helps us refocus. Life is tough. There’s nothing easy about life. But Easter helps us to get our focus off the temporary and onto the eternal where hope is restored and our purpose renewed.
While we all experience hardships in this life, Easter reminds us that Jesus died for our sins and rose the third day assuring us of a beautiful future in heaven. Easter also restores our joy and peace and helps us refocus our mindset.
Therefore let’s keep our minds set upon what’s waiting for us because of Easter, and not let them dwell upon the problems life presents.
Let’s be like David and pray, “Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit.” (Psalm 51:12)
This is the hope of Easter, the hope of the resurrection.
