Thought For Today: False Foundation

“For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 3:11)

While there’s no other foundation but Jesus Christ, that hasn’t stopped many from trying.

Today cults and false religions flourish and they all have one thing in common, the false belief that a person can be righteous before God based upon their good works. 

In the end they build upon a foundation of sand and when the wind and waves of life come crashing down they’ll tumble and fall with hell as their eventual stop (Matthew 7:26-27).

But those who build upon the solid foundation of Jesus Christ, they’ll be able to stand when the storms of life hit, and have heaven waiting for them on the other side (Matthew 7:24-25).
