Thought For Today: Christ Our Hope

The hope of every Christian lies in the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and Jesus Christ within every Christian is their hope in glory.

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” (1 Peter 1:3)

“To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” (Colossians 1:27)

Our hope is completely tied up in and comes through Jesus Christ. While on earth we conquer through Christ. When we die we do so in Christ. Christ admits us to heaven, and we have eternal life because of Christ.
