Thought For Today: Walk in Holiness

Hebrews 12:14 says, “Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.”

The word “see” in this passage means to have a vision. Without holiness, we’ll never get a clear view or vision of God, and we’ll never understand or perceive His ways. The way of holiness, therefore, needs to be traveled.

The night is nearly over, and a new day is at hand. Let’s wake up to the truth of God’s word and lay aside everything that is hindering our walk with God. We need the living water of God’s word to cleanse us as we confess and live lives of holiness unto the Lord.

“Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit.” (Ezekiel 18:31a)
